MC Maestro set
For our 40th anniversary, we've created something special. For the Maestro, our goal was to create a highly efficient speaker. The 10" midwoofer in conjunction with a large waveguide supporting its tweeter, the Maestro can effortlessly make you enjoy your favorite music in all its glory. From deep rumbles, up to sparkling highs, it's all present and never harsh to the ear.
Its beautiful solid wood front panel and veneered cabinet complimented by brass logos integrate well into every interior and are sure to spark a conversation.
The front covers are attached by magnets which allows for easy removal and installation without visible holes in the front panel.
Resonance-free bass
By mounting the 10” midwoofer to a dampened aluminium rod instead of the front panel, we’re able to channel most of the unwanted vibrations to the much stronger rear panel of the speaker. This ensures that you can enjoy deep, undistorted bass and rich mids.
An understated bueatiful speaker
The 28mm dome tweeter is mounted to the floating front panel of the speaker. The front panel is separate from the rest of the cabinet and is held in place by very strong magnets. Between these panels, is a layer of sound-deadening foam that absorbs most of the unwanted vibrations generated by the woofer.
Guiding silky smooth highs
Our custom ring-radiator tweeter is mounted on a beautiful solid wood front panel of your choice. This panel is mounted in front of the main cabinet with a resonance reducing foam. The waveguide has several great benefits, improving efficiency, reducing distortion and correcting for phase errors between it and the midwoofer. Ensuring that both drivers play in perfect harmony and are able to sound as one cohesive unit.
The front panel also covers the midwoofer’s surround, which can also be a source of distortion.
Optionally, this model can be equipped with a beryllium or TeXtreme® dome tweeter.
Less critical placement means easier enjoyment
The Maestro has its bass reflex port pointed forward. By doing this, they're much less sensitive to how you place them in your listening space. Usually, the proximity of walls next to and behind of the speaker’s bass reflex port can greatly affect low range output. Having speakers placed wrong can make them sound boomy or lacking in bass. With the Meastro's bass reflex port exiting at the front , placement becomes less critical.
