MC M3.2 set
The successor to our famed M3 speakers, incorporating our patent whilst also expanding on
it. Featuring a tapered design, making it look very elegant and sleek in any room.
Resonance-free bass
By mounting the 6,5” midwoofer to a dampened aluminium rod instead of the front panel, we’re able to channel most of the unwanted vibrations to the much stronger rear panel of the speaker. This ensures that you can enjoy deep, undistorted bass and rich mids.
Unique functional design
Not only does the tapered design look good, it also serves a purpose. It reduced standing waves inside the cabinet and thus reduces distortion and creates a tighter bass. It also means that the rear panel of the cabinet can be much slimmer and thus stiffer. By mounting the midwoofer to this panel, it’s providing a much stronger base than a front panel could ever achieve.
Guiding silky smooth highs
Our custom ring-radiator tweeter is mounted on a beautiful solid wood front panel of your choice. This panel is mounted in front of the main cabinet with a resonance reducing foam. The waveguide has several great benefits, improving efficiency, reducing distortion and correcting for phase errors between it and the midwoofer. Ensuring that both drivers play in perfect harmony and are able to sound as one cohesive unit.
The front panel also covers the midwoofer’s surround, which can also be a source of distortion.
Optionally, this model can be equipped with a beryllium or TeXtreme® dome tweeter.
Less critical placement means easier enjoyment
The M3.2 has its bass reflex port exit the bottom sides of the speaker. By doing this, it’s much less sensitive to how you place them in your listening space. Usually, the proximity of walls next to and behind of the speaker’s bass reflex port can greatly affect low range output. Having speakers placed wrong can make them sound boomy or lacking in bass. With the M3.2’s bass reflex port exiting at the bottom sides, placement becomes less critical.
